I wouldn't want to pay their electric bill for December. It's one thing to do a little decorating, but this is overkill. They do this every year, and it seems to be a different colour scheme each time.

The Bank of America building downtown. They've been lighting up a tree on each side of the building for years. It's kind of nice to see as you're driving into town, since you can see it from the interstate.

First, yeah! your blog is up again, I tried a couple times this morning and kept getting errors.
That house is amazing...they must be very rich to afford that bill. It also must take weeks to get all the lights up!
Earlier today apparently the whole uams.edu site went down. I was frustrated. It's nice to know I was missed.
This house is in a nicer part of town, where an average size house costs upward of $200K. I know, because I looked at one a couple of years ago when my mom and my sister were telling me that I should really buy a house instead of renting. That subject deserves a post of its own.
Anyway, I'm sure the inhabitants of this house can afford the electric bill, or they wouldn't do this every year. I wish I could do more decorating, but apartment living doesn't lend itself to that. I have some lights on my balcony railing, a candelabra that I put in one of the windows, and a welcome sign for my front door that has a reindeer, a snowman and Santa. That's all.
