Busy Day
I haven't had as much computer time today as I would have liked. I've been on the go today.
I spent most of the morning hanging out at home. I did a little laundry and some straightening up. Then we all packed up and went shopping for groceries. My husband got World of Warcraft. I think he's reviewing it for Ars Technica.
On the way home, we stopped at Wendy's and grabbed some lunch to bring with us. We unloaded the frozen items from the trunk and then came in to eat. After lunch, Julian went back out to get the rest of the groceries.
I had made plans to go to my Mom's house today and put up her Christmas tree for her. I was getting ready to leave to go out there when Jon called and asked if I had his Trivial Pursuit game, I said yes, then he asked what we were doing for dinner, and if we wanted to do something. I explained that I really didn't have money to go out and that I was about to go to my mom's house. He then said that he was going on a brewery tour and that he would stop by after the tour to pick up his game. Okay.
So, I went to Mom's. It was between 14:00-15:00 when I left my house. I didn't get back home until 19:00. Anyway, she had surgery on Wednesday to remove a cataract from her right eye and isn't supposed to do any heavy lifting for a week. I think the tree probably qualifies. She was saying that she wasn't even going to put the tree up at all. That's fine and all, but we're all going to her house on Christmas to open gifts, and to me it just doesn't seem like Christmas without a tree. So I volunteered my services to put up and take down her tree.
When Enzo and I arrived back home, Jon was waiting at my house, and Julian was playing WoW. I prepared dinner, we ate, and then Jon, Enzo, and I went out to look at Christmas lights. We moved Enzo's car seat from my Accord into Jon's Jeep. Enzo was in heaven. He was laughing hysterically and talking non-stop about being in Jon's truck, and riding in a big truck. Too funny. We went to a couple of sites around town.
We got back, Jon got his game and went home. I got Enzo to bed, fell asleep on his floor in the process, and here we are now. The time stamp on this post may say 21:57 on 18/12/04, but it's now 02:55 on 19/12/04.
