Spanish Word of the Day 9 June 2004 -- querer

Today's word is a verb: querer, to want. This can also be used as to love.

Since I'm feeling generous, I'll even conjugate it for you:

yo quiero
tú quieres
él quiere
nosotros queremos
ustedes quieren
ellos quieren

And here's a sample sentence that you may have heard before from a talking chihuahua:
Yo quiero Taco Bell. I want Taco Bell.

And another sample: Te quiero mucho. I love you a lot.
