I made a crappy little web page. My father built steel guitars, and apparently among steel guitar players, his guitars have some kind of cult following. Anyway, I got some records from my mom about serial numbers, sale date, and purchaser and put this online. I also installed sitemeter on it, just cause I was curious. I'm getting more visitors than I would have thought. I'm also getting quite a few emails, since I put my email as a contact there for additional information. I've noticed that in the emails I receive, many people assume that I'm male. Heh.

I hadn't thought of that before, but you know, you're right!
Maybe Nascar people and people who buy steel guitars are part of the same demographic. I wonder if anyone's studied this?
Maybe I should start including in my replies to the email that site generates: "Do you watch Nascar? Have you ever had a desire to be a Nascar driver?"
that would be an interesting study. my guess is there would be a positive correlation.
