Fashion trend I despise the most:
the poncho.
This fine example is from Newport News and comes complete with whipstitched rabbit fur trim. Who wears a rabbit fur poncho? With a dress?
I see ponchos at work every day, and they're just not flattering on most people. I also think that wearing a poncho to work is somewhat pushing our "business casual" dress code.
This is one thing that you will never see me wear.
It's nice to know that I'm not alone in my opinion. In searching for poncho photos, I stumbled across this gem by Amanda Fortini.

I was very pleased to see Amanda Fortini mention a more obscure zappa song in her piece about the tragedy of the poncho:
"Frank Zappa sang about issues of poncho authenticity in "Camarillo Brillo" ("Is that a real poncho ... I mean Is that a Mexican poncho or is that a Sears poncho?""
