I tried to post a comment on the diccionario de espanol post, but it said page not found...weird. Anyway, how do you put the accents in that online dictionary you found? It says that it doesn't pay attention to capital letters, but it does to accents...I don't know how to do that except in Word.
Good question. I hadn't searched for any words that had accents in them. I went to the site and tried español, but it turned the ñ into garbage on the results screen. I tried it as just espanol. No luck with that either, so I even tried espanyol. Nothing on that either. But check this out: I tried entering ingles, no accent, and it returned the entry for inglés.
Here's another site for verb conjugation: elemadridHere's another dictionary site that will accept accents. I tried español (using ALT164 for the ñ) and actually returned results: Diccionarios.comHope this helps!
Here's the really strange thing...ingles with no accent actually is a word and does not mean English...it means groin. hahaha Oh well. I always tell my kids that the online dictionaries are not infallible, although these sites you have posted are far better than the online translators out there. :)
It's not letting me post comments on the other posts...I don't know why! Anyway, I really want to encourage you with quitting smoking. I know how hard it is and the two places you mentioned were my trigger points too: the car and the computer. I found in the car, I tried to replace my smoking with breathsavers. It worked for me..I buy them by the case at Costco. :)
At the computer, I had to be more creative, I always had a big glass of water with me, sometimes I would crunch on some carrots, sometimes an apple with peanut butter, other times licorice.
Good luck!
