Plans for tomorrow

Or I guess, rather, for later today. I'm going to shower and go to bed. Wake up, take everyone to their appointed places.

I'm going to my mom's house to dismantle her Christmas tree. Part of our arrangement to have the tree up for Christmas day at her house was that I put it up and take it down. I have to have it out by the end of the day tomorrow, since she's having new carpet installed in her living room on Wednesday. Finally! That carpet has been there as long as I can remember. It's a multi-coloured textured shag. Wow. I think she's going with a beige berber instead. That will be a big change.

I also plan on making my first visit to the Clinton library. I wanted to go today, but the line of people waiting to get in was stretched outside, and I didn't have a whole lot of time. I really didn't want to stand there waiting, only to get in and realise my time was up and turn right around and leave. The library opens at 9. I might go there before going to my mom's. Maybe the crowds won't be so bad early in the day.

Have I mentioned that I'm really enjoying being on holiday? :)

Other than those 2 things, my day is pretty open. I might come home and do some cleaning. I promised Julian that I would dispose of some miniature pumpkins that have been sitting by our front door since Halloween. They're not rotten or anything. They weren't carved, they just sat there with some gourds and chrysanthemums for decoration.
