Feeling lots better today :)

We went out for dinner last night to a restaurant called The Buffalo Grill. Enzo likes it because they have a taxidermied buffalo head on the wall, along with other animals. We had cheesy fries (a bowl of french fries with cheese and bacon on it served with ranch dressing for dipping) as our appetizer. Have I mentioned that Julian is a bacon freak? He would eat bacon on or with everything if given the chance. Julian had a club sandwich with chips. I had what they call the "Turkey Delite" -- a grilled turkey sandwich on rye bread with lettuce, tomato, swiss cheese, and mayonnaise. I got a side salad with it. Enzo had the kids hot dog with fries. He was very well-behaved at dinner. Maybe our lessons on table manners are finally paying off!

We got home a little after 9, and got Enzo changed into his pajamas and got him to bed. He went right to sleep. I spent some time browsing the web before I went to bed.

I did get the loving from my husband that I had hoped for. Verrry nice. I slept very well. I woke up when Enzo did this morning around 8.

Today we're going to the mall so Enzo can have his photo taken with Santa. He's been talking about this all week long, so if we don't do it, he'll be disappointed. I thought that if we went now, relatively early in the holiday season, the crowds wouldn't be as bad. After Santa, I need to also go to the grocery store. I may wait until tomorrow, since this evening we have a holiday party to attend. It's for Julian's workplace, and it's going to be at the Peabody. (BTW Robert -- Little Rock has a Peabody now, complete with the ducks.) Enzo is unable to attend this, so we are taking him to my mother's house for the evening. I'm probably going to wear my standard little black dress for this event, but I haven't decided. I also have a silver lurex tank top that I may wear with some black slacks. It's supposed to be cold this evening. I guess you'll know what I decide on when you see the photos later.

Robert -- There's not just one Peabody outside Memphis, but TWO. From the Peabody Hotel Group website:
PHG's flagship properties, The Peabody® Orlando, The Peabody® Memphis and The Peabody® Little Rock enjoy an international reputation for their Service Excellence® and impeccable attention to detail.Notice that they don't even list the Peabody Memphis first. Hmmmm.

It's okay for the rant earlier. I totally understand. People like that bother me too.

Dom -- not another bacon freak! I'm surrounded! LOL.
