Obviously someone was lenient with Bush. I bet since he was such a great guy they worked with him to allow for training prior and after the actual start dates. It was not uncommon back then. Even now I make exceptions for my best employees and don't document it. You do these things for good quality people who can contribute to the organization and provide substance to the life of others. Is this really one of the decision points between the candidates for you?
BTW, how tall are you?
This in and of itself is not one of my decision points. I just think it's interesting that Bush and his staff have been insisting that Bush was present for all the required time, when the records seem to indicate otherwise.
And btw, I am 5'0". A giant in my own mind. :)
