Originally uploaded by lacarita. This is one of the best places to get steak around here. It's not in the best part of town, and is kind of spartan inside, but the food...oh yeah.
It also got quite a bit of press back in 1992 during the Clinton campaign. More political deals are made here than probably any other restaurant. Check their website for details.

this looks like my kind of place. you should get a job with the LR chamber of commerce. i never thought about visiting the place, but your posts have me pondering it!
It's really a pretty interesting place. I think I'm sometimes a little too down on it since I've lived here all my life, kind of a "been there, done that" attitude.
I've been taking Enzo around and showing him some of the sights, and he likes having photos to commemorate our sight-seeing.
So what you're getting is the by-product of me rediscovering my hometown.
And if you want to come visit, we have a futon. Just don't count on getting any sleep due to a roaming toddler.
Yeah, ...Does is pretty good. Lately I've been a fan of "Whole Hog" ...down on Cantrell
Ooh, Whole Hog is yummy too. But a different kind of yummy.
